The work of the Student Microfinance & Development Initiative (SMDI) is based on students giving their time, energy and ideas to support a movement which aims to help some of the poorest people in the world lift themselves out of poverty. As a non-profit initiative, SMDI does not provide any salaries to its management nor its members.
